BergoLED Speed Repair – UV technology for blade repairs

Our technicians recently had the opportunity to see and test the innovative BergoLED Speed Repair system, which utilizes advanced UV technology for repairs of wind turbine blades.

BergoLED Speed-Resin 1L1000-O is a solvent-free laminating resin specifically developed for fast outdoor repairs and lamination under adverse conditions. It cures in seconds using a UV LED lamp (395 nm) and can be processed further immediately.

Thanks to integrated UV sun protection, the resin remains workable for up to five minutes, even in direct sunlight. It is characterized by excellent adhesion and high mechanical and chemical resistance. Most importantly, it can be applied in low temperatures and high humidity – making it ideal for fast, weather-independent repairs.
